If they ban the steering wheels of cars it will be like 1942 nazi germany. First they will give you the option to buy one of these steering-wheel-less cars. Then once it becomes popular and half the population has it, you will be forced to buy one of these good for nothing AI cars. But they will tell you are still allowed to pick the destination. Next, they will make certain destinations offlimits that you are not allowed to go to. Next you will need a special permit to pick any destination. Then they will pick the destination for you, only thing allowed will be your slave job and you will be a slave simpleton hipster of george orwell 1984, next thing when you are late to your job your car will take a mysterious turn, and next thing you know it is driving you off a cliff!
